The Brief History Behind McCoy's Campground
McCoy's Camping was established in 1950 by Justus A. and Delora McCoy. The camping business was born out of necessity when hydroplane racing came to Madison, Indiana with the Madison Regatta. Located just across the river in Milton, Kentucky, the McCoy property created a perfect spot for race fans to enjoy the sport from the Kentucky side of the water. Today, McCoy's camping spans more than 3 miles along the banks of the Ohio River and offers sites for both permanent residents and temporary guests. Lots range from full hookups with electric, sewer and water to open areas for primitive camping. |
